Holy Grail Summer Product: Stila One Step Bronzer

I love to look tan and radiant, especially in the summer.  I discovered the Stila One Step Bronzer sometime last year and I haven't looked back.  It's serum that works as a bronzer and an illuminator.  Since it's a bit on the pricey side at $36, I only use a small pump each time but it seems to be enough to cover my face and last a while.  This product is also great if you're currently transitioning your lighter winter foundation shade into summer. You can buy it at Sephora.

Collaboration: Milly for Banana Republic

I'm a massive fan of brand collaborations. It's usually an opportunity to get a piece from a pricey brand at a lower price.  The most recent collaboration to hit the shelves is one between Milly and Banana Republic.  It's out today (May 30).  Milly is a contemporary women's line that often features bold patterns and super chic dresses.  The line at Banana Republic is no different and  even evokes a bit of a Hampton's style.  Definitely check this collaboration out if your style errs on the side of preppy.  See the collection here!

I'm loving the maxi dress on the upper left hand corner!

Finding the Right Foundation Color

How hard is it to pick the perfect shade of foundation, especially when you're at the drugstore and you can't even test out the products?  Luckily, I've stumbled across a website that can help you choose the perfect shade of foundation in any brand, based on the foundations you use!  Just enter two foundation shades that already work for you into the system and then it will match you with the perfect shade for any makeup brand.  Check it out here!

Lusting over Sandro

Sandro isn't quite in my price range, but that doesn't mean that it isn't one of my favorite brands. Sandro, a Parisian, features clean lines and classic shapes. The pieces seem versatile and timeless, which is something that I absolutely love. It's nice to take a timeless piece and dress it up with trendy accessories so you can easily fit the latest trends! What brand do you lust over?

Loving the sophistication of this look...

Saturday by Kate Spade

Kate Spade makes the cutest accessories, from amazing cross body bags to the cutest baubles, I can't get enough of her stuff. It can be a bit pricey at times. Thankfully, Kate Spade has launched a more affordable line called Saturday. You'll see bright colors, just like Kate Spade's regular line but at a cheaper price and with a younger look. Check out the line here.

Met Gala 2013

The 2013 Met Ball occurred last night in New York City.  This annual ball celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum's opening at the Costume Institute.  This night is always exciting because the looks are always so avant garde.  The theme this year was Punk: Chaos to Couture, quite an interesting theme if you ask me!  Let's see how the stars and designers executed....

The shape of the top is rather interesting, but I'm loving this azure color on Cameron Diaz.  Because I'm not a massive fan of punk fashion, I like the subtle element of the spiked belt.

Blake Lively always looks stunning, and last night was no exception!  I like the silhouette of her gown, form fitting on top and loose and flowing on the bottom.

There were many major flops as well.  Kim Kardashian's ensemble, for example, as well as Miley's look were not among my favorites.  what looks did you like/hate?
