I am currently painting my nails as I write this post. It is the second time this month that I have painted my nails with OPI's Sweet Heart. It is definitely the perfect nude nail. I love that it elongates my nail beds and looks so sophisticated and it is a timeless color.

Earth Day: EcoTools
This morning as I was doing my makeup, my friend said that she liked my brushes. I explained to her that they were by Ecotools. What a coincidence that today is Earth Day! The brushes, made out of bamboo and 100% cruelty free material, are extremely soft. I like the Ecotool blush and concealer brushes the best. These brushes are great because they are easy to take care of, inexpensive, and available at most drug stores. The only negative is that they often come in sets so its difficult to buy just one brush. To read more about Ecotool click here.

Love: 'Mango' Sandal by Trouve
I'm dying over these Trouve 'Mango' sandals from Nordstrom. How cute are they? These need to be in my closet NOW! They're the perfect summer sandal! I love the strappy design and the small wedge. But I can't decide which color I like more...
First is the sandal in the color Nude. I love how the neon pink accents the nude leather but then my concern about this sandal is that it wouldn't match with a lot of things. The sandals would look great with the Ecote Embroidered Bazaar Cami from Urban Outfitters, some dark or light wash skinny jeans, or some frayed denim shorts!

Below is the sandal in Black. I love how the black sandal goes with almost anything! The strappy design in black leather makes the sandal look so edgy and chic! You could easily transition this sandal into early fall when the weather is still warm but you'd need a cover up like a light leather jacket. I think I'm leaning towards the black sandal just because of it's versatility but the sandal in Nude is just so cute! What do you guys think?

Cross Body Bags
With Festival Season in full swing, it's the perfect time to invest in a cross body bag. Actually, anytime is great for a cross body! A cross body bag is great because it allows you to go handsfree. I happen to really like pink cross body bags for some reason. When shopping for a cross body, I make sure that the bag isn't too small. The bags below can fit a wallet, sunglasses, a few lip glosses a phone, and other small essentials. In addition, it is also important to make sure that the bag hits your body at the right height, around your hips. Are you a cross body fan?

Obsession: Blushbaby by MAC
I have never encountered such an amazing blush like Blushbaby by MAC. I would describe it as a dirty rose color. I enjoy that it works well on my olive complexion so much so that I've been reaching for it everyday nonstop. It is versatile in that it works with any lip color and any eye color. I've finally hit pan on Blushbaby and I'll have to run out to buy some more because my makeup routine wouldn't be complete without it.

My Favorite Foundations: Drugstore and High End
My skin has not been behaving like it's normal self for quite some time. Because of this, I've been reaching for foundations that offer a heavier coverage. The foundations that I love are extremely popular because they actually work very well.
Drugstore: Revlon Colorstay Foundation ($12)
Although a bit pricier than your normal drugstore foundation, Revlon Color stay is worth the extra few dollars. It provides a great finish without looking too cakey. I love that it comes in a variety of shades and there's a version for dry skin and a version for oily skin. I find that it applies best with your fingers.
High End: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation ($43)
This foundation is definitely pricey, but you won't regret having skin that appears almost airbrushed. It does have the tendency to get a tad bit cakey so use a light hand when applying it with a sponge.
