Trend Alert: Grey Nails

Trend Alert!  Trend Alert!  Now this blog is not a politics blog but props to Michelle Obama for starting a trend at the DNC.  Instead of opting for a classic pink or red, the first lady took a risk with a truffle grey color.  Michelle proves that trendy colors are no longer just for the young.  The color also looked killer with her pink Tracy Reese dress.  If you're curious about the color she chose, it's the color Vogue  by Artistic Color Soak Off Color Gel.

Rumors are swirling that cobalt blue may be the hottest color of this season!  NYFW runways have been filled with various garments and accessories in this deep blue hue.  I'm a huge fan of rich jewel tones.  I would love a pair of pumps in cobalt blue!

Can you believe that it's already September 1?  That means that New York Fashion Week is rapidly approaching.  The shows run from September 6 - September 13.  Not only do we get to see new trends but we get to see amazing street style.  I'm excited to see what my favorite designers will show.  I'm also curious to see Holmes and Lang by Katie Holmes because I have no clue what to expect!  Who's ready for Spring 2013?
