Product Review: Almay Liquid Lip Balm

Can we say obsessed?  I certainly can about Almay's newest product, a lip balm.  I snagged a $4 off any Almay product coupon in the Sunday paper (gotta love coupons) and then found out that each balm was $4.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond so I was able to score the product for just 99 cents! I purchased the balm in Apple-A-Day.  I love that one coat provides a sheer wash of color and two coats provides an opaque color.  The only flaw of this gloss, which some may like, is that the product has a heavy frosting smell.  So all in all, if you have the chance to go grab an Almay Liquid Lip Balm...do it!

2014 Trends

Fashion is always fast moving.  People are probably already predicting trends for 2015!  While I don't have any idea what will be hot in 2015, I have some ideas as to what might be popular in 2014.  Let's take a look at two up and coming colors...

Navy - Navy has been dubbed the new black for the fall and winter.  Transition your wardrobe into spring with a dusty blue!  Also, petrol blues will be all the rage.

Pomegranate Pink - No need to explain this gorgeous color to you, it speaks for itself.  I'll definitely be incorporating pomegranate pink accessories into my wardrobe.  Just look at the Marc by Marc Jacbos bag in the left hand corner.  This pink hue also pops well against blues!

Collaboration: Marchesa and Revlon

You know me and collaborations...I love them.  Up next, Marchesa will be doing a collaboration with Revlon.  Marchesa, high end women's wear line, is often worn on the red carpet by stars including Sandra Bullock and JLO.  E! News reports that the collection will feature an array of beauty items from lip products to beauty tools.  I'm so looking forward to this collaboration!
