The Metallic Trench Coat

This past week Burberry captivated audiences with a colorful runway show.   The pièce de résistance was the metallic trench coat.  Burberry's classic piece was totally recreated and given a new twist.  My favorite was the deep pink trench coat.  What do you think about the metallic trench coat?  Is it too high fashion?  Will it  translate into everyday wear?

Trend Alert: Grey Nails

Trend Alert!  Trend Alert!  Now this blog is not a politics blog but props to Michelle Obama for starting a trend at the DNC.  Instead of opting for a classic pink or red, the first lady took a risk with a truffle grey color.  Michelle proves that trendy colors are no longer just for the young.  The color also looked killer with her pink Tracy Reese dress.  If you're curious about the color she chose, it's the color Vogue  by Artistic Color Soak Off Color Gel.  

Cobalt Blue

Rumors are swirling that cobalt blue may be the hottest color of this season!  NYFW runways have been filled with various garments and accessories in this deep blue hue.  I'm a huge fan of rich jewel tones.  I would love a pair of pumps in cobalt blue!
