Last night I took a few minutes out of my busy schedule to watch the Oscars. Of course I was interested to see who won Best Supporting Actor but I was also very interested in seeing fashion. Just like on the Marc Jacobs runway, I noticed a ton of metallic dresses on the red carpet. What do you think about the metallic trend?

Catherine Zeta Jones looked radient in this golden gown
I've been seeing pastel polishes making the rounds again for this Spring season. I was happy when my friend introduced me to the Spring 2013 Essie collection. While some of the colors are pastel, not all of them are. I'm absolutely loving the bold Hip-anema and the gorgeous blue Avenue Maintain. I'm also interested to check out Maximillian Strasse Her simply for the fact that I cannot tell whether it is grey or blue. I can't wait to add these colors to my collection!
Another New York Fashion Week has gone by and has left us with just a few trends for the upcoming Fall season. Here is a brief recap of just a few things that I loved...
Nails @ Rebecca Minkoff
The nails below were all the potential options for the Rebecca Minkoff runway show. How chic are they? Minkoff opted for the blue nails seen on the thumb and the ring finger. I can't wait to rock some marbleized nails.
Many of Marc Jacob's pieces featured sequin gowns with fur stoles or jackets. I absolutely loved how the two went together, so elegant and so the Great Gatsby.
How stunning is this gown? I love the cutouts! My favorite thing however, is this gown's color. The olive shade is a great change from the standard gown color.
Whether you're going out on a romantic date or spending the night with your favorite tub of Ben & Jerry's, I hope that you all have a fantastic Valentine's day! I love all of you so much. Thank you for supporting this blog. Now go and enjoy some chocolate!
You've probably already heard about the Prabal Gurung collection for Target. If not, you don't want to miss this! While I'm not too familiar with the typical Prabal Gurung design, I'm absolutely loving this collection. This cut-price collection prominently features brights and florals. It's perfect for summer in the city. I'm dying over the floral dress in the center, how cute is it? I love that you can edge it up with the black belt, and those shoes? Killer! Check out the look book here! Prices range from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel while shoes and accessories will be priced from $12.99 to $39.99. Anything you'd be interested in?
P.S. - Can we just take another moment to admire those shoes? Drool...
